Simulator Technician

divh2Simulator Technician/h2pCAE, one of the largest business aviation training facilities, is looking for a Simulator Technician in our newest training center in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role you will perform preventative maintenance tasks on the simulators and associated simulator systems./ph3Description/h3ulliLearn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated simulator systems./liliAssist in diagnosing and correcting routine problems on simulators and associated systems./liliPerform pre?flight and post?flight tasks on designated simulators./liliPerform basic visual alignments./liliRun automatic Qualification Test Guide (QTG)./liliUtilize the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities./liliComplete all designated training activities./liliAssist with refurbishment and hardware modifications./liliLearn and comply with CAEs quality management system./liliProvide customer service support and address customer needs in a timely manner./liliPerform logistics duties, including parts receipt, repair, and testing/validation./liliPerform housekeeping functions to maintain simulators as required./liliPerform required administrative tasks./liliWork primarily at the Las Vegas Training Facility in Nevada./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications/h3ulli2?year technical degree or equivalent related training./lili1 year of simulator?related experience in one of the following:/liulliElectronics/avionics/liliAutomated systems/liliComputer networking repair and troubleshooting/li/ulliProficiency in reading and interpreting prints and schematics./liliKnowledge of analog and digital theory./liliBasic skills in operating test equipment./liliBasic skills in soldering and circuit board repair./liliSome knowledge of PCs and MS Office tools and suite./liliAble to travel (less than 10%)./li/ulpBenefits/pulliAn environment where your initiatives will be recognized and valued/liliThe opportunity to travel internationally/liliThe opportunity to work on a variety of projects on a multidisciplinary team/liliThe opportunity to represent the organization at external conventions and conferences/liliThe possibility to work from home occasionally flexible schedules/liliAttractive employee benefits/li/ulpPhysical Effort/pulliThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
