Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,241-$2,326 per week Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week Contract duration: up to 26 weeks with end date negotiable Shift: Rotating (D/N/W/Holiday rotation) Start date: 09/21/2026 Setting: Emergency Department within a short-term acute care setting Rotation details: ER D/N/W/Holiday rotation; 3x12s plus 2 on-call shifts per 4 weeks Responsibilities Provide direct care and manage patients presenting to the emergency department across all ages, using emergency nursing standards. Perform triage with primary assessment, establish priorities, and coordinate care with the ED team. Monitor, reassess, and document patient status; administer treatments, medications, and procedures as indicated. Educate patients and families, prepare for diagnostics or procedures, and plan for discharge or transfer as appropriate. Collaborate with physicians, ancillary staff, and EMS to ensure timely and safe patient flow and safety. Uphold infection prevention, patient safety, and compassionate, relationship-based care to alleviate anxiety and address comfort needs.
