Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) PRN

Position: Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) Location: St. Charles, MO Schedule: PRN Days – no set days, as needed for PTO coverage Compensation: $35 per hour (PRN) Sign-On Bonus: $1,250 (no commitment) About the Hospital Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world‑class inpatient post‑ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. PTAs play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent treatment every step of the way. Key Responsibilities Assist with the delivery of physical therapy services, including transportation, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities. Implement treatment goals, plans, and programs as established by the physical therapist. Assist PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients’ long‑term goals (strengthening, coordination, balance exercises, posture, endurance/cardiac, functional skills, community re‑entry training, joint mobility, muscle lengthening, pain relief).
