Through our dedication to provide excellence to our customers, we have grown from a small independent pharmacy to a multi-state long-term care pharmacy solution.We are proud to offer:Competitive compensationComprehensive healthcare benefits401(k) retirement planPaid time offAn awesome work environmentOpportunities to advance and grow your careerAnd more!Duties and responsibilities:Manages the workflow processes which may include pharmacist verification and labeling/packagingReviews medication orders and evaluates their appropriateness and completenessComplies with federal and local pharmacy laws as regulated by the Pennsylvania State Boards of Pharmacy, the Drug Enforcement Administration, and the Food and Drug Administration.Performs all job duties with a friendly, positive and team-oriented approachMaintains required licenses or certifications in good standingComplies with all company policies, procedures, rules and standardsAll other duties as assigned by Pharmacist-in-ChargeRequirements:Required skills/abilities:Must possess a KS State Board of Pharmacy Pharmacist LicenseExperience with document management system such as Docutrack or ECM preferred, but not requiredPositive personality who is able to work well within a teamAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareCan de-escalate and troubleshoot problems within the pharmacyPhysical requirements:Must be able to withstand long hours of computer screen time and deskworkMust be able to stand/be on feet for duration of an eight (8) hour shiftIf you are hardworking, dedicated and looking for a change in your career, we may have an opportunity for you!Tarrytown Expocare is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
