Job Summary and Qualifications As a Stationary Engineer in our Hospital, you will support the mission of our hospital by optimizing the quality of life of our patients. Your duties will include (but not limited to): You will be operating and maintaining high pressure steam boilers You will service and repair of mechanical equipment relevant to heating, cooling, and emergency power supply You will be assisting your team with maintaining a clean, well-organized, and safe patient care environment You are: Reliable Excited to work in a fast-paced environment Organized and can provide exceptional customer service What qualifications you will need: HS Diploma or GED A Stationary Engineer License is preferred Four (4) years in stationary engineering work consisting of a minimum of three (3) years operating high-pressure steam boilers producing over 10 hp and steam pressure over 15 p.s.i. or water heating boilers when the water temperature exceeds 250 degrees F in the system, and minimum of one (1) year operating refrigeration equipment preferred. Must be knowledgeable of high-pressure steam boilers, chillers, absorbers and other related equipment. Skilled in standard serving and repair operations. Ability to handle heavy equipment.
