ContiTech, a division of Continental, is one of the world's leading suppliers of technical elastomer products and is a specialist in plastics technology. ContiTech develops and produces products for the automotive and other important industries. Our Sun Prairie, Wisconsin location is seeking multiple Production Operations personnel to join our team. THE POSITION

• Production operators are responsible for safely operating various types of industrial machinery (extruders, reelers, compressors, lubricating equipment, and more in a fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work well with others and good attendance is an expectation!
• You will have the ability to traing and after 6 months bid on open positions within the business.

Your profile

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
• Ability to work 2nd (3pm-11pm) or 3rd (11pm-7am); shift is determined on the basis of seniority per union contract
• Must be able to read specifications and work instructions, use hand tools & gauging equipment
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift;
• Ability to push, pull, reach product regularly throughout the work shift
• Ability to frequently lift up to 40 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous manufacturing experience strongly preferred but not required.
