Registered Nurse - Special Procedures

Job Title Registered Nurse - L&D Location Glendale, CA Duration 13 weeks (with possibilities of extension) Shift Night Guaranteed Hours 40 Roles and Responsibilities Patient Assessment & Preparation – Evaluate patients’ health status, review medical history, obtain consents, and prepare them for specialized procedures. Procedure Assistance – Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures (e.g., endoscopy, cardiac cath, radiology‑guided procedures). Monitoring & Safety – Continuously monitor vital signs, sedation levels, and patient responses before, during, and after procedures. Medication Administration – Administer IV sedation, contrast agents, and other prescribed medications safely. Equipment & Sterility Management – Set up, operate, and maintain specialized equipment while ensuring a sterile environment. Post‑Procedure Care – Provide recovery care, assess for complications, educate patients/families on aftercare and discharge instructions. Documentation & Compliance – Record all aspects of care accurately and follow hospital, legal, and infection‑control standards. #J-18808-Ljbffr
