Supervisor, Production

ReturnPro is looking for an experienced, energetic, and result-driven Production Supervisor. This role is responsible for managing Teammates in a logistics and assembly environment. This position plans and assigns work, implements policies and procedures, and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions.Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the teammate occupying this position.Determines quality control standardsSelecting, ordering, and purchasing materialsBalances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areasEnsures proper training of all Teammates regarding Safety, Quality, and other company procedures and programsExecutes SOPs and holds team accountable, including progressive discipline when necessaryManages Teammates’ time and attendance and updates hours appropriatelyIdentifies talent, including primary and backups for critical rolesHolds daily management meetings with the team to discuss daily goals, objectives, and company/department updatesPromotes a safe work environment; ensures that warehouse personnel have safe, efficient equipment in order to perform distribution functionsProvides a hands-on approach, including the scheduling of personnel, and overseeing of warehouse daily activities including receiving, stocking, inventory control, order filling, and private truck shipments as well as customer pickup orders, workflow, performance and work standards, accuracy, and productivityCharts progress and develop enhancements to drive efficiencyRequirements:Bachelors degree in business, logistics, management, or similar, or at least 2 years of experience in the logistics warehouse, inventory field, plus demonstrated management qualificationsKnowledge and experience with Microsoft OfficeWorking knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulationsFrequently required to walk, bend, use hands, and reach with hands and armsPossible weekend work and overtime required (including potential overnight shifts)Ability to frequently and repetitively lift, push, and carry up to 35 lbs.Ability to frequently and repetitively lift and carry 20 lbs. up and down stairsAbility to frequently and repetitively bend, lift and reach to install parts of varying size and weight overheadGreat communication and critical-thinking skillExcellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skillsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentialityStrong time management and project management skillsDemonstrated initiativeAbility to think creatively and problem solve when faced with new challengesAbility to work independently, multi-task, and deliver quality work in an efficient mannerAbility to manage competing prioritiesAbility to succeed in a team environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
