Project Manager II

Position Summary As a Project Manager in Donaldson's Power Generation business, you will drive growth and profitability through day‑to‑day leadership of cross‑functional teams to deliver projects in line with the business’s quality, time and cost targets. You will work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to support timely and effective project launches and execution. Role Responsibilities Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation. Coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments. Analyze project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs to ensure that the project team adheres to project requirements. Establish and maintain relationships with appropriate client stakeholders, providing day‑to‑day contact on project status and changes. Establish and maintain processes to manage scope over the project lifecycle, setting project quality and performance standards, and assessing and managing risk within, and across, multiple projects. Structure and manage integrated, multi‑track project performance KPIs for multiple deployment projects, with an eye on overall progress. Develop and maintain partnerships with outside resources—including third‑party vendors and customers. Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels as needed—escalating issues as necessary based on project work plans. Ensure clear, consistent, and regular communication to the organization in line with strategy. Other Requirements Hybrid schedule: this position requires working at the Bloomington, MN office/facility. Travel: up to 5% of the time. Relocation: not eligible for relocation assistance. International relocation or remote work arrangements outside of the United States will not be considered. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. At least 2 years of project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong technical and application knowledge. Strong analytical and financial acumen. Demonstrated leadership qualities, project management skills, and fluency with project management frameworks, methodologies, and tools. Technical degree in engineering or a related field. Presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels. Manufacturing company experience. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary range: $71,900 – $91,700. Health benefits.
