Director of Accounting

Leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional ready to own the accounting function and help drive the business forward.
Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close and financial reporting.
- Partner with senior management to turn financial information into usable business insights.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships across teams, contributing to a positive, team atmosphere.
- Oversee GL, AP/AR reconciliations, controls, compliance, and audits.
- Lead, coach, and development the accounting team.
- Drive automation, ERP, and process improvements to scale the organization.
- Support strategic initiatives and growth opportunities.
- Serve as key partner to the VP, Corporate Controller, CFO, and cross functional-leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA required or strongly preferred.
- 7&ndash10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Manufacturing, CPG, or distribution experience required.
- Proven leadership and team-development experience.
- Big4/second-tier public accounting candidate with relevant manufacturing or CPG clients.
