Adjust, replace, and repair all series of truck and trailer equipment (e.g., sheet metal repairs, fiberglass/panel repairs, fabrication and structural welding, installation and alignment of truck cab body components, electrical and mechanical repairs). Road test vehicles when necessary. Maintain current knowledge of job and technical skills including truck manufacturer’s repair process. Perform work as outlined on repair estimates with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards. Teardown and inspect for additional or hidden repairs. Advise body shop estimator of additional damage or supplemental needs or if repairs will not be completed on time. Road test vehicles to ensure quality repair. Supervise work of any apprentice technicians. Maintain ASE certifications. Qualifications Welding, suspension, framework experience a plus. OR must be willing to learn/train Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certifications Damage Analysis and Estimating Certification for Collision Repair Mechanical and Electrical Components Certification for Collision Repair Non-Structural Analysis and Damage Repair Certification for Collision Repair State Vehicle Inspector Certification Certifications listed above or equivalent experience Valid driver's license and clean driving record Willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Management and Manufacturing Industries Motor Vehicle Manufacturing #J-18808-Ljbffr Jeff D'Ambrosio Auto Group
