Job Full Description Our client located in Elgin, IL is looking for a Quality Technician to join their 2nd SHIFT team!
In this position, you will perform detailed inspections of precision-machined parts, ensure quality standards are met, and support production through accurate documentation and communication. If you have a strong attention to detail and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this could be a great fit for you!
Pay: $17.50/hr
Hours: Monday-Friday | 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed inspection of precision parts using microscopes, gauges, and measurement tools.
- Identify and document non-conforming parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate quality records and inspection reports.
- Communicate quality concerns with supervisors and production teams.
- Assist with containment and corrective action processes as needed.
- Support production and quality departments to maintain workflow and standards.
- Adequate manual dexterity to handle small precision parts and tools.
- Corrected visual acuity for inspecting detailed components.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, twist, and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs as needed throughout the shift.
- Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Good attendance and work history.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
