Paralegal, Real Estate/Telecom

Responsibilities Draft template legal documents related to leases, easements, acquisitions, and regulatory matters under the supervision of the Senior Paralegal; review and abstract legal documents. Draft letters and correspondence having a legal effect related to transactional and regulatory compliance matters. Order and review title commitments and policies; resolve title and non-disturbance issues and coordinate support from outside counsel as needed. Manage the company’s state registration filings and annual reporting requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Maintain and update files in the document and project tracking databases; preserve original legal documents through scanning and electronic indexing. Serve as liaison with outside counsel on day-to-day issues related to site development, transactions, and other projects. Support vendor onboarding, including drafting and reviewing confidentiality agreements, NDAs, and service agreements. Reach out to landlords to gather documents for title policies and other transactional needs. Notarize and/or witness documents executed on behalf of APC Towers. Perform administrative tasks related to tracking site issues, creating and maintaining files, scanning documents, and other operational support as needed. Qualifications 3+ years of paralegal experience; real estate experience required; telecom experience strongly preferred. Paralegal certificate preferred and college degree or equivalent experience Notary Public in the State of North Carolina required, or willing to obtain certification within 90 days. Knowledge of real estate principles, legal document drafting, and title review. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word; familiarity with document management databases a plus. Entrepreneurial and self-motivated – comfortable operating without a defined playbook and able to prioritize in a fast-moving environment. Strong written and oral communication skills; able to work effectively with colleagues, outside counsel, vendors, and state agencies. Able to sit at a desk for extended periods; stand; walk.
