Technical Development Program
AbbVie
A three-year full-time developmental program for recent graduates in science and engineering disciplines. Participants rotate through three professional assignments in areas including engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain, with mentorship and structured career planning.
Responsibilities
- Complete three sequential professional work assignments across functional areas over three years
- Develop technical and leadership competencies with assigned mentor guidance
- Execute day-to-day duties under department manager supervision in each rotation
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety management system requirements and compliance obligations
- Participate in annual leadership training with other development program participants
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Completion of at least one internship or co-op experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills through extracurricular activities or projects
- Cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher preferred
- Willingness to relocate globally and work at U.S. operations plants as assigned
- Strong problem-solving, written, and verbal communication abilities
- U.S. work authorization without sponsorship requirements
