Cost Accountant II

Day-to-day partnering with operations teams, including project support, development of metrics and ad hoc reporting. Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, raw materials, and overhead costs to develop standard cost models. Validate costing after product design changes. Identify and explain monthly manufacturing variances to management. Develop and maintain weekly scorecards to drive performance improvement. Assist and own various forecasting and annual budgeting processes for material and direct labor costs Assist with journal entries, reconciliations, and cost accounting close activities.
