CNC Machinist – Mill & Lathe Setup/Programmer | $20.00+ per hour | 1st Shift

Job Description

An established manufacturing company in Mentor, OH, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist who can set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes. This position requires hands-on setup and programming experience and is not an operator-only role. The ideal candidate will be proficient in blueprint reading, comfortable working independently with their own tools, and experienced with both mills and lathes.

Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC mills and lathes
• Read and interpret blueprints proficiently to complete machining work
• Prepare machines, tooling, and setups for production
• Use personal machinist tools as required to perform assigned work
• Monitor machining operations to support accurate, quality production

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience setting up and programming CNC mills and lathes is required
• Ability to operate CNC mills and lathes after completing machine setup
• Proficient blueprint-reading skills
