Accounting Operations Specialist

Carolina PRG is excited to partner with a well-established organization in the skilled trades and contracting space to find an Administrative Operations Assistant . This is a hands-on opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who enjoys taking ownership, staying ahead of details, and helping a busy office run smoothly. This role will work closely with office leadership and support a variety of administrative, accounting, and operational needs. Responsibilities Coordinate employee onboarding paperwork and maintain personnel documentation Track open administrative items and proactively follow up to ensure completion Organize invoices, receipts, purchase orders, and other accounting-related documentation Maintain accurate company records related to vehicles, insurance, licensing, and other operational requirements Support management with spreadsheets, reporting, and special projects Prepare and maintain documentation for customers, vendors, and internal teams Assist with payroll preparation and timecard administration as needed Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and other business partners Provide day-to-day administrative support to office leadership and the broader team Maintain employee, customer, vendor, and general company records Identify administrative gaps or issues and take initiative to help resolve them Qualifications Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through completion Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience within construction, skilled trades, field services, or a similar environment is a plus High level of attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work independently and take ownership without requiring constant direction 3+ years of administrative, operations, or office management experience preferred Strong written and verbal communication skills Dependable, consistent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment Proactive mindset with the ability to recognize what needs attention and act accordingly #J-18808-Ljbffr CAROLINA PRG
