• Lead full setups & tool offsets

• Optimize G-code at the machine

• Hit +/- .0005 tolerances on Alu, Stainless, & Titanium

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling and/or turning machines using HAAS
• controls
• Modify and optimize existing CNC programs at the machine as needed
• Select, install, and adjust cutting tools and tooling offsets
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure parts meet dimensional and tolerance
• requirements
• Inspect finished and in-process parts using precision measuring equipment
• such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and CMMs (if applicable)
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and
• efficiency
• Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, programs, or materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following safety procedures
• Document inspection results and production data as required

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
• wearing steel toe shoes
• standing for 8 hours at one time
• working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week

Skills

• CNC Setup (5 years of experience is required)
• Milling (4 years of experience is required)
• G-Code modification (3 years of experience is required)
• Blueprints, Technical Drawings (1 year of experience is required)
