Job Details Job Location: National Chattanooga – Chattanooga, TN 37411 Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 4 Year Degree Travel Percentage: Up to 50% Job Title: Regional Director Reports To: Director of Ministry Location: Chattanooga (onsite) or Remote Direct Reports: Yes Purpose Statement The Regional Director provides strategic and relational leadership for a designated region of CBMC. This role is responsible for driving unity and alignment with the organization’s Mission, Vision, and Values (MVV); recruiting and developing leaders; building sustainable leadership structures; and ensuring financial health across the region. Through intentional relationship‑building, city visitations, coaching, and training, the Regional Director ensures that an increasing number of leaders are identified, connected, engaged, trained, and multiplied to advance the mission of CBMC. Essential Responsibilities Regional Leadership and Coaching – Provide guidance, coaching, and encouragement to both staff leaders and volunteer leaders throughout the region, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and mission alignment. Engage in consistent mentoring, performance development conversations, and leadership support to strengthen regional effectiveness. Leadership Identification and Development – Identify emerging leaders and potential staff and actively engage them in the CBMC Leadership Development process. Strategically mentor Area Leaders through a defined development roadmap while cultivating a strong pipeline of future leaders. Relational Engagement and Regional Presence – Maintain strong relationships across the region through intentional one‑on‑one engagement, regular communication, and travel. Conduct consistent visits with leaders to provide encouragement, alignment, and strategic support. Ministry Expansion and Organizational Building – Serve as a builder of ministry by strategically identifying opportunities for new area development and strengthening existing ministry presence. Align and deploy people and resources to maximize effectiveness and expand the reach and impact of the organization. Strategic Communication and Influence – Lead influential conversations that inspire engagement, reinforce the organization’s mission and vision, and drive alignment among staff, volunteer leaders, and stakeholders. Demonstrate strong leadership and strategic communication to ensure clarity and direction across the region. Change Leadership and Organizational Alignment – Lead and navigate organizational change with clarity and confidence, helping staff and volunteer leaders understand and implement evolving strategies, priorities, and initiatives. Development and Funding Growth – Support the funding of ministry growth by participating in development activities and equipping leaders to engage in fundraising efforts. Help cultivate relationships that strengthen financial sustainability and expand ministry impact. Qualifications Faith & Character Requirements Must affirm and actively live out a personal faith in Jesus Christ, aligned with CBMC’s Statement of Faith. Must embrace and model CBMC’s mission of reaching men in the workplace for Christ. Must be male, consistent with CBMC’s identity as a men’s ministry. Demonstrates Biblical standards of integrity, humility, and servant leadership. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree. Five to seven years of successful experience in sales or related field. Demonstrated leadership and the ability to successfully manage a diverse range of tasks. Skills & Competencies Leader of Leaders – Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, influence, and develop leaders—particularly business leaders—through relational leadership, coaching, and strategic engagement. Relational Leadership and Engagement – Proven ability to build, strengthen, and sustain meaningful relationships through intentional one‑on‑one engagement, regular communication, and travel to support leaders and regional initiatives. Coaching and Leadership Development – Skilled in coaching, motivating, teaching, and training leaders to enhance performance, deepen engagement, and strengthen alignment with the organization’s mission and objectives. Accountability and Performance Leadership – Ability to hold leaders accountable to expectations, goals, and organizational standards while maintaining a culture of encouragement, support, and growth. Mission‑Centered Discipleship – Demonstrates an active commitment to the organization’s foundational focus of discipling men, modeling and encouraging spiritual and leadership development among those served. Leadership Presence and Experience – Brings demonstrated leadership experience, preferably within a business or marketplace environment, with the ability to engage and influence professional leaders. Care for Leaders and Teams – Consistently demonstrates proactive care and support for Area Directors, Area Leaders, and Field Partners, ensuring they feel valued, supported, and aligned with the mission. Collaboration and Trust Building – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, foster collaboration, and cultivate long‑term partnerships across teams. Other Requirements Willingness to engage in personal fundraising and donor development. Commitment to ongoing personal growth and participation in CBMC programs and tools. Willingness and ability to travel for ministry events, training, and national meetings.
