Job Summary:
The operating room registered nurse (RN) position is located in San Francisco, California. This role involves providing direct and indirect patient care in the surgical setting, utilizing a comprehensive understanding of perioperative nursing protocols. Candidates are required to bring their California RN license on the first day. The nurse will support a variety of surgical procedures, including robotic surgeries, vascular surgeries, orthopedic, neurological, and general procedures, with a focus on delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality care.

Job Details:

• Location: San Francisco, CA
• Schedule: 5x8 shifts, evenings (1500-2330), rotating weekends and overtime support
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours
• Shift: Evenings
• Required Qualifications: Valid California RN licensure, BLS (American Heart Association) certification, minimum of 5 years of experience in operating room nursing, Epic charting system experience (preferred), CNOR certification preferred, and immunizations including COVID-19 and flu vaccines.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with robotic surgical systems (Da Vinci Si, SP, Xi), extensive surgical procedures knowledge, and background check clearance for any criminal hits or DUIs.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA) required at the time of submission, CNOR preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in surgical nursing, with specific experience in various complex procedures listed in the position description
• Travel: Candidates must be within 50 miles of the site; locals accepted at a lower rate
• Other Requirements: Valid state license at time of submission, ability to undergo lab work within 3-5 days of signing, 7-year work history verification, and submission of all necessary certifications.
• Additional Information: Candidates should have specific charting experience with Epic (preferred). The role involves working in a hybrid OR with advanced surgical equipment and support services. Compliance with background policies and vaccination requirements is essential.
