Panel Wiring Shop Lead

Position Summary Lead for Control Panel Wiring Division – Bridgeville, PA (Pittsburgh Area). Up to $30+ per hour based on experience. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. What You'll Be Doing: Hands‑on working lead/division supervisor role. Perform point‑to‑point wiring using electrical prints and schematics. Oversee a small team of wiring technicians (2–3 employees). Help train and develop any new hires. Manage workflow of division, prioritize jobs based on delivery dates. Build and assemble electrical control panels and cabinets. Install components, wiring harnesses, and power wiring. Fabricate enclosures (drilling, cutting, mounting components). Use hand and power tools to complete assigned work. Ensure all work meets quality and productivity standards. Work independently while contributing to a growing team. What We're Looking For: Prior experience with control panel or cabinet wiring. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams. Knowledge of wire color codes, wire sizing, and electrical standards (including creep and strike distances). Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Ability to measure accurately and follow torque specifications. Interest in taking on additional responsibility as the team grows. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Electrical Technology or related field preferred. 3–5 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Good manual dexterity. Ability to lift up to 45 lbs occasionally. Why This Opportunity: Daylight shift with no weekends.
