Position Overview We are looking for a Managing Partner who has the desire to make a real difference in people’s lives and wants to be a true business partner in a high‑growth, high‑performance organization. This is more than a General Manager role – this is an ownership mindset role. As a Managing Partner, you will build strong teams, drive exceptional member experiences, and operate the club like it’s your own business. What You’ll Do As the Managing Partner, you will: Build and develop high‑performing teams through proactive recruiting, hiring, and coaching. Manage day‑to‑day operations, set clear expectations, oversee training standards, and drive performance to meet key business objectives. Focus on member retention and experience, ensuring timely issue resolution, a clean and fully operational facility, and team alignment with daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Oversee payroll, scheduling, inventory, and compliance to ensure the club runs smoothly, profitably, and in alignment with brand standards. What Success Looks Like Build a high‑performance team through networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members. Achieve successful and profitable operations of the gym. Deliver an exceptional member experience with rapid issue resolution, high retention/satisfaction, and a clean/crisp facility. Assume full business ownership—driving people, culture, financial results, margin optimization, and brand standards. About You You lead with conviction, align teams around shared goals, maintain engagement and direction, and make objective decisions while sustaining performance standards. You anticipate next steps, create clarity around roles and accountability, hold yourself and others accountable for results, and focus on continuous improvement in fast‑moving environments. Responsibilities Build strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring managers and team members. Directly manage the team, including setting weekly management schedules and assigning responsibilities. Maintain training standards and coach team members to drive sales performance. Provide ongoing development and coaching, including training in employment policies and practices. Conduct staff meetings and set staff goals. Grow the business to profitability and energize the team around daily, weekly, and monthly objectives. Ensure member resolutions are timely to support retention. Monitor scoreboards to meet or exceed expected KPI standards. Maintain a crisp, clean facility with equipment operating 100% of the time. Manage employee payroll and scheduling to maintain adequate staffing. Command all offerings, amenities, and equipment utilization. Ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and standards. Track inventory and ensure timely restocking. Required Qualifications Minimum 4 years of fitness facility or service‑oriented management experience. Experience owning and managing a location or department profit & loss, including budgeting, expense control, and driving revenue. Experience supervising a team of at least 15 employees. Experience with business operations such as finance, administration, and labor management. CPR/AED certification (can be obtained within 30 days of hire). Assertive action, innovation, and problem‑solving skills. Knowledge of key metrics and drivers to grow business. Proficiency with Microsoft Suite or similar software. Ability to invest financially in opportunity. Physical Requirements Frequent lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds, standing or bending for prolonged hours. Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field preferred. Travel No travel required. Compensation (Salary) $60,000 base, $75,000 (guaranteed) – $200,000 uncapped income based on profit share. Monthly and quarterly bonus opportunities.
