Job Description: Minimum Experience: 2 years; 1st Timers not accepted. Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics. Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS and RCIS, RCES or ARRT CV. General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses include - Diagnostic cath, PCI, orbital atherectomy, IABP, Impella, device implants, no EP studies, no ablations; EKG Settings and Experience Required, Obtaining Vitals, Rhythm interpretation, Sinus node rhythms required; Pacemakers preferred; Required Experience with GE Discovery, IABP, Impella, CSI. Ratio / Census: 3 Rooms with 5 Beds; Average daily census of 8-10. Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Merge (Preferred) Scrub Color: Provided by the facility RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless otherwise specified Floating: Yes within department and facility, but always a possibility to float to sister campus Piedmont Eastside South Call Requirements: 10 call days/month Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays. Major Holidays are listed below: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Years Eve/New Years Day Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule. Clinical Screen - Candidate will be reviewed by clinical to determine clinical fit, if clinical pass and within Piedmont guidelines, candidate will be sent to the manager for final decision.
