Job Highlights

We are expanding our Emergency Department (ED) at UAB Hospital, Alabama's first ACS-verified Level I Adult Trauma Center, and we're hiring additional team members. As one of the largest emergency departments in the country, this expansion will include 115+ treatment and triage spaces, more than doubling our capacity as well as a 30-bed inpatient observation unit. The new space was designed with staff input and will have new equipment and features, including dedicated technology like CT scanners, X-ray machines, and echo ultrasound, along with a ceiling lift for bariatric patients, enhanced security, and a streamlined teleadmission process. Job Description

To provide oversight for the daily clinical operations for all radiology modalities within area of responsibility. To provide supervision to ensure optimal workflow and delivery of quality, cost effective patient care.

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Allied Health, Business or Radiologic Sciences and three (3) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement. Currently registered as a Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT)) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist (R.T.(N)(ARRT)) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or currently certified as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or currently credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) required.
