Psychiatric APRN - PMHNP

Job Description The Psychiatric APRN will examine, assess, and treat behavioral health patients within scope of practice & under supervision of their collaborative psychiatrist within the SNF and ALF environment. The Psychiatric APRN differentiates psychiatric presentations of medical conditions from psychiatric disorders & arranges appropriate evaluation and follow‑up. The Psychiatric APRN will collaborate with the care team in assessing, planning, and implementing the patient’s care plan. Experience Current Florida License as Psychiatrically Certified Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (PMHNP) Excellent active listening and interpersonal skills Must be flexible, resourceful, and able to troubleshoot Must be willing to travel site to site Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities Current CPR certification Current valid Florida Driver’s License About Us Huntingdon Behavioral Health was founded to provide psychiatric and psychological care to those in need of diagnosis and treatment of a mental health condition.
