Temporary Manager, Global B2C Business Unit

Payrate: $35.00- $36.40/hr. The Global Business Selling & Stores team, as part of Global Markets organization, is responsible for helping sellers start and grow their businesses on our platform and delivering a value proposition that attracts and retains sellers, from small entrepreneurs to global brands. We partner with teams across the enterprise to drive our strategic priorities forward, deliver on our promise, and give sellers confidence in being successful, profitable, and protected in our marketplace. This temporary role will backfill a manager position and play a critical part in driving operational excellence, performance visibility, and cross-functional alignment for the Global B2C Business Unit. You will play a central role in driving business operations for the Global B2C Business Unit owning and improving key operating cadences and bringing structure, visibility, and accountability to how the business runs. This includes leading performance analysis across seller health metrics, coordinating with cross-functional partners, and ensuring leadership forums translate into clear actions and outcomes. This role is ideal for someone who excels at operational rigor, brings strong structure to ambiguous environments, and can effectively connect data, processes, and stakeholders to drive results.

Responsibilities:

• Drive best-in-class business operations and cadences
• Support and elevate key leadership cadences, including MBRs and Extended Business reviews.
• Improve accountability by ensuring clear documentation, action tracking, and follow-through across leadership forums.
• Support 2027 planning efforts by driving a structured and well-coordinated planning process, ensuring timelines are met, deliverables are high quality, and stakeholders are aligned. This includes organizing and facilitating planning reviews, coordinating closely with Analytics, BU/product teammates, Finance, and central planning teams, and ensuring inputs are synthesized into clear, actionable outputs that enable effective decision-making.
• Own seller performance insights and analytics partnership
• Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and analysis of Big 7 seller funnel, CSAT, and seller health metrics.
• Translate data into clear insights for leadership audiences
• Liaise with analytics to help drive the analytics agenda for Global B2C BU and markets B2C teams, creating structure to help drive prioritization across different stakeholder needs.
• Champion AI and innovation
• Drive adoption of AI tools to improve insights generation, report efficiency, and workflows
• Share best practices and enable the team to leverage AI in day-to-day operations

Requirements:

• Strong operational mindset with the ability to bring structure, rigor, and accountability to complex, fast-moving business environments
• Proven experience managing business cadences, planning processes, and cross-functional coordination
• Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to interpret performance metrics (e.g., funnel, CSAT, seller health) and translate them into clear, actionable insights
• Ability to synthesize complex data into concise narratives tailored for senior leadership (VP/ELT level)
• Experience partnering effectively with Analytics, Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams to drive alignment and outcomes
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority and navigate competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on clarity and actionability
• Comfort working in ambiguous environments and proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and ways of working

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $35.00- $36.40/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience.
