As the Senior Product Manager for this group, you are the product owner for developer earnings supporting all creators in managing earnings from their game and re-investing those earnings in their growth.

• You drive innovation in ways in which creators can maximize their earnings by making it easy and safe to manage their earnings and spend on the platform. You lead the strategy and execution for helping our run their businesses better while making sure our users have the best experience on the platform.
• You drive automation for creators that results in outcomes that are accretive for the developer, the user and the platform.
• You help businesses on Roblox manage their payouts to their collaborators and members.

This role based in San Mateo, CA reports to the Sr. Director Product, Monetization and Payments.

You Will:

You will drive the product strategy and vision for an innovative developer monetization platform on Roblox, leading the industry in defining ways in which users and developers can find value on this platform.

• Have full responsibility for developing features and capabilities to facilitate in-app monetization through developer products and optimize pricing, while minimizing Roblox’s exposure to fraud and abuse
• Partner with other product, design, engineering and business stakeholders at Roblox, and drive strategic alignment. Enroll other teams into your product vision and align roadmaps to ensure cohesive product functionality and value proposition.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to define scope, review technical capabilities, prioritize projects for release, and define new opportunities
• Lead and facilitate brainstorming, then take these early ideas and iterate, experiment, and build
• Defend your POV against skeptics, while being open to feedback and adapting your ideas to deliver the best output
• Use relentless customer understanding and empathy to discover and define the right problems and products we should be pursuing
• Balance and prioritize new features with existing backlog initiatives and align them with the product vision.

You Have:

• 5+ years of product management experience, with experience in the in-app monetization, game analytics and group management.
• Entrepreneurial drive: Worked in a fast paced environment, with competing resources and priorities, through the product life cycle from planning, development, through to launch. Strong opinions and a willingness to make calls with limited information. Comfort advocating for resources and operating in a dynamic, fluid organization. A high degree of self-direction and a get stuff done attitude.
• Technical mindset: Comfort delving into the product, platform and implementation details. Ability to roll up your sleeves and engage with engineering to design scalable and extensible solutions
• Data-driven approach: Proficiency identifying, defining, tracking and acting upon metrics. Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing methods. Experience identifying KPIs and working with engineering and analytics on instrumentation and monitoring.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills: Ability to convey strategies, priorities, and tradeoffs at the 30K foot level, as well as produce clear and detailed product and technical specifications

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits as described on this page .

Annual Salary Range

$280,540—$330,950 USD

Roles that are based in an office are onsite Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional presence on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
