What We’re Looking For:

• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Mexico
• Experience working in school-based or pediatric PT roles is highly desired
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with faculty, students, and families
• Ability to plan and deliver both individualized (1:1) and group physical therapy sessions
• Preference for in-person therapy, ensuring a hands-on, interactive approach to care
• Organized, flexible, and committed to best practices in patient-centered therapies

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based physical therapy services to students in a school setting
• Conduct assessments, develop individualized plans, and monitor progress
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ mobility and participation in daily activities
• Document services, progress, and recommendations in accordance with school policies and professional standards
• Support students in achieving educational goals by addressing gross motor, mobility, balance, and coordination needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
