Qualifications:

• Current New Mexico Physical Therapy license (required)
• Previous experience in a school setting or working with pediatric populations strongly preferred
• Comfortable providing both individualized and group therapy services
• Effective communication skills with students, staff, and families
• Strong organizational abilities to manage documentation and caseloads efficiently
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning experience for all students

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy interventions to meet IEP goals
• Assess, document, and regularly report student progress
• Collaborate with educational teams, including teachers and other therapists
• Adapt interventions to meet varying student needs, both individually and in groups
• Provide recommendations for equipment, accommodations, or classroom modifications
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
