Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Medical Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. This unit focuses on providing high-quality care to post-operative and medical-surgical patients, and we pride ourselves on our great teamwork!

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a ratio of 1:7, aiming for 1:6.
• Perform wound care, I/O catheterization, and trach care.
• Utilize equipment such as EKG machines and bladder scanners for patient assessments.
• Document patient information in the Meditech system.
• Participate in daily huddles to ensure team communication and coordination.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN License
• BLS Certification
• Experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
