As an intake therapist at Family Service & Children’s Aid, you will provide behavioral health assessments and an initial treatment plan that help clients to attain and/or maintain recovery from substance use and mental health disorders along with assisting them with improving their overall well-being. FSCA is sought after for their trauma services and Women’s Specialty Substance Use Services. Qualifications for position are as follows: Master’s degree in Social Work or related profession, with State of Michigan licensure Experience as therapist working with children, teens, and adults. Experience in trauma, mental health and substance use, preferred. Willingness to obtain MCBAP credential (CAADC) for Substance Use Services. Agency covers fees and trainings associated with credential. Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
