Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced, results-driven Outdoor Kitchen Sales Consultant to join our team. This is a client-facing role focused on consultative selling. You will meet with homeowners, understand their vision and lifestyle, guide them through design and material options, prepare accurate proposals, and close projects. Success in this role requires a balance of sales skill, design sensibility, and the ability to build trust with discerning clients.

Most of our projects are custom and relatively complex. The ideal candidate enjoys the design process, can communicate clearly with both clients and the production team, and takes ownership of the client experience from first meeting through signed contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct showroom consultations with prospective clients to understand their needs, budget, and design preferences for outdoor kitchens, pergolas, and related outdoor living features.
• Educate clients on materials, layouts, appliance options, stone selections, and construction considerations specific to outdoor environments in Southwest Florida.
• Collaborate with the design team to develop accurate, detailed proposals and 3D or conceptual drawings when needed.
• Present proposals professionally, handle objections, and close sales in a consultative manner.
• Maintain a consistent pipeline through follow-up, referrals, and networking within the local real estate, builder, and designer communities.
• Coordinate with project managers and production staff to ensure sold projects are properly handed off and client expectations are clearly documented.
• Track leads, appointments, proposals, and closed sales using the company’s CRM system.
• Represent the company at occasional local events, open houses, or networking functions.
• Stay current on product offerings, material options, pricing, and industry trends related to outdoor kitchens and outdoor living.

Required Qualifications

• Proven track record in consultative sales, ideally in home improvement, outdoor living, kitchen & bath, custom cabinetry, or related residential construction fields.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport with high-end residential clients.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing a calendar of appointments and follow-ups with minimal supervision.
• Professional appearance and communication style appropriate for luxury residential clients.
