Registered NurseBaystate New England Orthopedic Surgery Center is an ambulatory surgery center located in Springfield, MA. With eight operating rooms, the center delivers high-quality, cost-effective outpatient surgical care across multiple specialties, including orthopedics, sports medicine, and podiatry. The center is proudly partnered with Compass Surgical Partners, a national leader in developing and managing ambulatory surgery centers across the U.S.The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.Hours: Monday-Friday; PRNWhat You'll do:Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settingsMonitor patient status and respond to changes during recoveryDocument accurately and communicate effectively with team members and patientsMaintain sterile environments and adhere to safety protocolsSupport patient education and post-op instructionsWhat You'll bring:Graduate of an accredited RN programCurrent RN license (unencumbered)Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)Experience in pre-op/PACU environment, 1 year minimumStrong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skillsPhysical & Work Environment Requirements:Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterityExposure to surgical environments, equipment, and patient care areasCompensation: The actual hourly rate offered will be based on experience, education, and relevant background.Why Compass Surgical Partners?Compass Surgical Partners is a leading, independent, full-service ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development and management partner.
