POSITION OVERVIEW- Senior Project Director

The Senior Project Director - EPC is responsible for running all aspects of a design, design/build, EPCM and/or construction project. Responsible for all scope, schedule, budget, safety, and team management. Must be able to run reimbursable or fixed price projects greater than $1 billion.

COMPENSATION

$180,000- $240,000 annually

Annual Bonus: Target 25%

SCHEDULE

Full-time, Monday–Friday

Hybrid/On-site depending on project assignment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES – Project Director

• Lead the full EPC project lifecycle from proposal development through project completion
• Support business development efforts, project pursuits, client presentations, and bid strategy development
• Participate in acquisition of new project opportunities and help secure future work
• Direct engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls activities
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, risk, and commercial performance
• Maintain accountability for project profitability and financial performance
• Oversee multidisciplinary teams including engineering, construction, procurement, project controls, and subcontractors
• Coordinate closely with engineering leadership to ensure alignment between design intent and field execution
• Drive constructability reviews and execution planning throughout project development
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, consultants, and stakeholders
• Lead project reporting, forecasting, change management, and executive-level communications
• Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, quality expectations, and contractual obligations
• Mentor and develop project management staff and future project leaders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
• OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
• 10–15+ years of experience within EPC, Design-Build, Engineering, Construction, or Industrial Project Management environments
• Experience leading major capital projects ranging from multi-million-dollar developments to billion-dollar programs
• Demonstrated success managing projects from project pursuit through final turnover
• Strong understanding of engineering deliverables, design coordination, procurement, and construction execution
• Experience working directly with engineering teams throughout project execution
• Experience managing fixed-price and reimbursable contracts • Strong commercial, financial, and contractual management skills
• Proven experience participating in project bidding, estimating, proposal development, or project pursuits
• Exceptional leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills
