You'll stay ahead of market trends, represent RPS in the marketplace, and leverage your network to drive growth and establish yourself as a trusted resource in the industry.Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand your portfolio and drive revenue growth.Cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and centers of influence.Analyze complex risks and design tailored insurance and risk management solutions that meet clients' evolving needs.Collaborate with underwriters, account managers, and internal specialists to deliver exceptional client experiences and winning outcomes.Stay informed on industry trends, emerging risks, and market conditions to provide valuable insights and strategic guidance.Represent RPS at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.Negotiate with carriers to secure competitive coverage solutions and deliver value for clientsAbout YouBachelor's degree and 1+ years of insurance, sales, or business development experience; or participation in Gallagher's Sales Internship Program (GSIP); or a High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years of related experience.Commercial casualty insurance experience is required.Proven ability to build relationships, generate new business, and deliver client-focused solutions.Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, risk management principles, and market dynamics.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.Active Property & Casualty license, or the ability to obtain and maintain required licensing.Preferred: Wholesale brokerage experience and/or professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, ARM, or CEBS.Compensation and benefitsAt Gallagher, we believe supporting our colleagues goes far beyond the role itself.
