The organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CICU) Registered Nurse (RN) in Springfield, Illinois. This position involves providing specialized critical care to adult patients with cardiac and cardiovascular conditions. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of the assignment.

Job Details

• Shift Schedule: 4 days per week, 12-hour shifts (Days)


• Schedule: 4x12 Days or 3x12s, every third weekend


• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of nursing experience, Illinois license in hand at submission, BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications; Cerner charting system experience is position-specific.


• Preferred Qualifications: Previous charge nurse experience, 2 years of nursing experience, trauma level I or II experience, recent travel experience.


• Float: Required; candidates will float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby.


• Additional Information: Must have experience with PICC line management and starting IVs. This unit functions within an acute care hospital setting, accommodating adult patient care with an average daily census of six, in a facility with 562 beds.


• Submission Requirements: Provide 2-3 interview times upon submission; SSN and date of birth are required at time of submittal; necessary certifications per unit description.
