Program Manager - Finance Solutions

Job Overview Manage a portfolio of projects that enhance finance systems and solutions across the business, ensuring compliance with applicable policies. Execute technology and people–process change and automation projects, oversee day‑to‑day activities, and actively review and deliver project deliverables—including planning, business analysis, testing, and operational readiness. Team Specific Job Description The Program Manager partners with finance leadership, technology, and cross‑functional stakeholders to drive complex finance transformation initiatives across data, process, and technology domains. With a consulting mindset, the Program Manager translates strategy into executable roadmaps, shapes problem statements, evaluates solution options, and guides delivery through disciplined program execution. Comfortably operating in ambiguity, the Program Manager influences without authority and advises senior stakeholders on trade‑offs, risks, and execution approaches, while acting as a thought partner to business leads to simplify, standardize, and modernize finance capabilities and ensuring strong governance and delivery discipline. Responsibilities Reviews and executes deliverables for all phases of the project while working closely with various partners and user community Works with leadership and/or line of business to set strategic direction of the project Assists leadership in the development of solution strategies Demonstrates strong subject matter knowledge about existing financial solutions and processes within scope of responsibility Adheres to Chief Financial Officer Group's Change Management Governance and Controls Requirements Requires an understanding of Finance, Accounting, Technology, and Project Management Acts as a strategic advisor to Finance leadership, partnering to define scope, priorities, and multi‑year delivery roadmaps aligned to enterprise objectives Leads cross‑program coordination across multiple interconnected initiatives, managing dependencies, sequencing, and integrated outcomes Develops executive‑ready materials including business cases, decision documents, and progress for senior forums Drives alignment across stakeholders by translating complex concepts into clear, actionable insights and recommendations Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Technology, or related field 10+ years of experience in Finance, consulting, transformation, or program/project management roles Proven experience of delivery in large complex organizations or top tier professional services, leading complex, cross‑functional initiatives with senior stakeholder engagement Strong consulting and advisory skills, including problem structuring, storytelling, and influencing decision‑makers Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, navigate competing priorities, and drive outcomes through collaboration Deep understanding of Finance processes, technology enablement, and change delivery Desired Qualifications Experience leading Finance technology or data‑driven transformation initiatives Advanced presentation and communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership CPA, CMA, CFA, or internationally recognized accounting qualification, or significant relevant experience Skills Change Management Collaboration Program Management Project Management Strategy Planning and Development Business Acumen Business Case Analysis Consulting Scenario Planning and Analysis Stakeholder Management Business Analytics Presentation Skills Process Management Process Performance Measurement Reporting Compensation & Benefits Location: US – NY – New York – 1100 Ave Of The Americas – Two Bryant Park (NY1540) Salary: $124,000–$180,000 annualized.
