Desktop Support Technician - Irondale, AL
$22 - $24 per hourAA2IT
Desktop Tech
Primary day-to-day responsibilities entail troubleshooting Dell laptop/desktop PCs. Working with end-users to resolve issues. Providing updates to management as needed. Supporting six local car dealerships in the area. Do not contact local tech already there.
Top 2 or 3 required skills that candidates must have: communications, hardware break-fix, installing.
Work schedule: M-F/8-5/overtime = YES/on-call = YES. Full-time hours.
Overall years of experience: 1.5 years. Specific certifications or education: none required.
Driving required: Yes. Travel between multiple locations during the week.
Assignment type: Contract to hire. Conversion rate: 22-24$/hr. Worksite zip code: 36116. Candidate review and interviews start ASAP. No upcoming vacations or time out of the office.
Must have: Field tech experience client facing/executive customer service. Troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of site. Warranty Dell support. Mac experience is a plus. Certification requirements: A+/nice to have Dell/Lenovo/Mac.
