Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years License: Current RN License meeting the criteria for licensure in the state Certifications: BLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: 2 years of Level 1 or 2 Trauma experience; Scrub and OR Circulator experience. Description: Position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. The role involves assisting in surgical procedures and providing direct patient care. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. The nurse will monitor and coordinate care activities with other departments. Maintains professional accountability for patient care provided. Evaluates effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Ensures patient rights and confidentiality are maintained. The position requires working with a team of nurses and surgical technicians. Assist with various surgical cases including vascular procedures and hybrid imaging. Physical demands of the role include standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs. Must demonstrate strong communication and human relations skills. The work environment is primarily clean and air-conditioned. Fosters a commitment to high-quality patient care and satisfaction. Additional responsibilities may include supporting critical care patients. Qualified candidates should possess clinical expertise and meet all job expectations.
