Tesla's Factory Software Team PositionTesla's Factory Software team builds the systems that keep our factories running — equipment management, maintenance operations, real-time IoT, construction planning, and supply chain automation across every gigafactory worldwide. The software we ship runs on factory floors, drives real-time decisions, and directly impacts production output. Quality isn't optional here — when things break, factories feel it.You'll own quality end-to-end across our platform: building test automation frameworks, driving CI/CD pipeline reliability, and ensuring that every release — from backend APIs to AI-powered agents — works under real manufacturing conditions. You'll work directly with engineers and factory operations to catch problems before they hit production and build the tooling that makes the entire team ship faster with confidence.This is not a typical QA role.
