This position's primary responsibility is to maintain a professional and friendly atmosphere while conducting all business ventures. What you'll do: Answers incoming phone calls and handles each call accordingly, whether it is a prospect call, irate resident, service request, etc. Greets prospective residents, qualifies, determines needs and preferences, professionally, presents community and specific apartments while communicating features and benefits Prepares and qualifies applicants for Compliance approval Assists in developing market strategies and markets property as directed Correctly completes all lease applications, assists with application verification and notifies prospective residents of results Maintains and monitors affordable waiting lists according to policy Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor What you'll need: HUD/Tax Credit/Affordable Housing Certifications preferred Fair Housing and Section 504/ADA certification desired, or willing to obtain once hired Word Processing software experience required. Spreadsheet software, property management software, Internet experience desirable Capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks/responsibilities and working under pressure to meet deadlines Compensation is $22.00 - $25.00 per hour based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package Still curious about what Givens is all about?It's kind of a long story , but at our core, we're a senior housing organization with a lot of heart and committed to providing housing to seniors of all socioeconomic backgrounds across WNC for more than 40 years.
