About the Role

The Company is seeking a General Counsel to take on a senior legal leadership role for the Americas region. The successful candidate will be the primary legal advisor to executive leadership, leading the negotiation and review of complex commercial agreements, and providing strategic guidance on corporate transactions, M&A, and business expansion. This role also involves advising on regulatory, compliance, governance, and risk management matters across multiple jurisdictions, and partnering with business leaders on cross-border initiatives. The General Counsel will be responsible for driving legal process improvements, managing a team of legal and contracts professionals, and overseeing outside counsel relationships and legal budgets. Applicants must have a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school, be licensed and in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar, and have a minimum of 15 years' legal experience. The role requires significant experience in negotiating and managing commercial contracts, demonstrated M&A experience, and a strong background in international and cross-border legal matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing legal teams, exceptional stakeholder management, and executive communication skills, as well as strong project management capabilities. The position demands a leader who can support organizational growth through practical, business-focused legal advice and is adept at driving enterprise-wide legal initiatives.
