Your Tasks

• You will work closely with experienced cybersecurity engineers and be actively involved in customer projects.
• You will be the customer's point of contact for questions regarding security incidents reported by our Security Operations Center (SOC) and analyze structural weaknesses of the customer in a team.
• You will address security and technical problems for customers in a solution-oriented manner with the support of your team.
• You will contribute to the creation of technical reports and security analyses.
• You will pass on simple best practices, also to non-technical stakeholders.
• In your cooperation with customers, you will act professionally and build trust.
• You will analyze logs and security-relevant data sources to detect possible risks.
• Together with your mentor, you will continuously work on your technical and consulting skills.

Your Profile

• You have 2–3 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.
• You have had initial contact with network security, cloud infrastructure, and SaaS solutions.
• You are familiar with topics such as authentication, identity management, and risk assessment.
• You enjoy communication – both written and verbal, in German and English.
• You solve problems in a structured manner and think analytically.
• You know how to work in a team – and you want to develop yourself personally and professionally.

Technical Knowledge in at least 4 of the Following Areas

• Network Basics: Basic understanding of TCP/IP, subnetting, and common protocols.
• Operating Systems: Initial knowledge in hardening Windows, Linux, and Unix systems.
• Security Tools: Experience with firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS.
• Scripting: Basic knowledge in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Familiarity with tools like Nmap, Nessus, or OpenVAS.
• Incident Response: Basic knowledge of detecting and responding to security incidents.
• Security Frameworks: Initial insights into frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK or NIST.

• You can explain technical topics in a way that is understandable for non-technical people.
• You quickly recognize security problems and think solution-oriented.
• You build trust in a professional manner when dealing with customers.
• You document thoroughly – from guidelines to processes to protocols.

The base salary range for this job family is 44,000 to 133,000 EUR annually. This range reflects the base pay the company reasonably expects to offer for this position, aligned to the broader job family base pay structure. Actual base pay may vary based on skills, experience, and location, including job family level. In addition to base pay, Arctic Wolf offers variable incentive compensation, new hire equity grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
