Specialized Recruiting Group is seeking a Customer Service / Call Center Representative for a fast-paced manufacturing company in the City of Industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who enjoys working in a busy environment, solving problems, and providing exceptional service.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable handling a high volume of customer inquiries while accurately documenting information and coordinating with internal departments.

Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour, DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls and provide prompt, professional assistance with questions, concerns, and product-related inquiries.
• Assist customers with product returns, RMAs, shipping issues, and account-related questions.
• Track and monitor returned products and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Communicate with customers to gather additional information regarding product issues, returns, or reported concerns.
• Enter and maintain accurate customer, product, and return information in the company’s ERP system.
• Review product history and related information to assist with pricing, returns, and customer inquiries.
• Coordinate with internal departments, including shipping, warehouse, sales, and production, to resolve customer issues.
• Follow up on open RMAs, shipping refusals, and outstanding customer balances.
• Provide customers with updates regarding the status of their returns or service requests.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and resolutions.
• Identify recurring customer concerns and communicate potential issues or process improvements to management.
• Maintain a professional, organized, and customer-focused approach in a fast-paced environment.
• Perform other customer service and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service, call center, inside sales, or related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional and courteous phone manner.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of phone calls.
• Basic computer skills and strong data-entry abilities.
• Experience working with an ERP or CRM system is a plus.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Automotive, manufacturing, or technical product knowledge is a plus .
