Registered Nurse - Inpatient Dialysis

Job Summary Work Shift: Varies (United States of America) Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36 Compensation: Salary Range: $34.00 - $48.00 per hour Union Position: No Department Details: This unit functions autonomously within Sanford Medical Center Fargo and the Sanford Broadway campus to provide dialysis treatment to hospitalized adults and limited services for children. Hemodialysis Peritoneal dialysis Continuous renal replacement therapy Apheresis treatments including WBC depletion Hours: 12‑hour shifts with varying start times (6:30am, 9:00am, 11:00am). Minimal call requirements. Sign‑on bonus available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized nursing care to dialysis patients. The RN will coordinate care, conduct patient assessments and education, participate in interdisciplinary planning with physicians and other team members, and implement and evaluate dialysis care. Additional duties include documenting patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided; using technology to enhance quality patient care; delegating to and supervising unlicensed personnel; and assuming overall nursing accountability for patient care. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred. Graduate from an accredited nursing program required (e.g., AACN, ACEN, or NLN CNEA). Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
