Position Description Ryder is hiring a NON CDL Truck Driver in Batavia, NY – offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about. Pay and schedule: Average weekly pay: $1,088 Hours per week: 40 + overtime Solo miles pay: $0.37 per mile Solo stops pay: $12.00 per stop Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends Start time: 6:00 AM – 7:00 AM Delivery Expectations Deliver SOLO To: 120‑mile radius of Batavia, NY Route: Local Home Daily Truck types: Box truck – 16’, 22’ & 26’ Equipment: Pallet jack, lift gate & hand truck (Ryder will train) Freight type: Touch – Auto parts Benefits Medical, dental & vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO in first year, starting Day 1 (use it or get paid) Uniforms, cell phone & boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain – you make safety decisions and your job is protected 401(k) rollover now, company match at 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum age 21 years Minimum of 6 months verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder drug test Valid driver’s license Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures Pass a Ryder background and motor‑vehicle check (including drug & alcohol verification from last 3 years) Pass a DOT physical Pass a Ryder road test Experience in similar equipment: 6 months in the past 3 years, or 2 years in the last 5 years, or 5 years in the last 10 years Responsibilities Safely drive a vehicle and comply with all safety regulations and continuous training requirements Provide excellent customer service and follow written and oral instructions Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules Detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards Maintain accurate records; load and unload freight as required by customer Perform other tasks as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
