Manager of AI and Product

ABOUT THE ROLE Manager, AI Platform & Product to lead the strategy, governance, and evolution of enterprise artificial intelligence capabilities across the organization. This role is responsible for owning the enterprise AI platform roadmap, driving AI product strategy, and partnering with business leaders to identify high-impact opportunities that deliver measurable business value. Working closely with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Legal, and cross‑functional stakeholders, this leader will establish enterprise AI standards, promote responsible AI adoption, and help shape the organization's long‑term AI vision. RESPONSIBILITIES Own the enterprise AI platform strategy, roadmap, and product lifecycle while designing, configuring, and deploying AI solutions using Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Studio, and supporting Microsoft AI technologies. Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of custom AI agents and intelligent automations that improve business processes and drive operational efficiency. Develop AI agent logic, manage API integrations, and optimize Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using internal enterprise data. Evaluate emerging AI technologies and prototype non‑Microsoft AI platforms when appropriate while maintaining Microsoft as the enterprise AI standard. Partner with business leaders to identify AI opportunities, prioritize initiatives, and translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions. Serve as the enterprise AI intake authority by evaluating proposed AI initiatives and determining the appropriate implementation approach, including native platform capabilities, AI Center of Excellence solutions, or third‑party technologies. Partner with Enterprise Architecture to develop and maintain an enterprise AI roadmap aligned with business objectives and technology strategy. Drive enterprise AI governance by preventing shadow AI initiatives and ensuring AI solutions are standardized, visible, secure, and compliant. Establish and enforce AI guardrails related to data privacy, model access, prompt security, responsible AI practices, and cost management. Collaborate with Information Security and Legal to define and maintain AI governance frameworks, acceptable use policies, and audit processes. Develop performance measurement frameworks to evaluate AI solution accuracy, adoption, ROI, business impact, and model performance over time. Champion AI adoption across the organization by building awareness, educating stakeholders, and fostering engagement with the AI Center of Excellence. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive and business leadership on AI strategy, emerging technologies, governance, and enterprise best practices. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field is required. Advanced degree preferred. Five or more years of experience in AI, machine learning, data engineering, enterprise platform development, or related technical disciplines. Two or more years of hands‑on experience building AI agents, intelligent automations, or advanced AI‑enabled solutions. Proven success translating business challenges into production AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. Experience partnering with business leaders, Enterprise Architecture, and Information Security within a governed enterprise environment. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Studio, Power Automate, and Power Apps. Strong understanding of enterprise data architectures and integrations including SQL, Dataverse, SharePoint, APIs, and data lakes. Advanced prompt engineering experience with demonstrated success reducing hallucinations and improving AI accuracy. Experience designing and implementing Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex AI concepts for executive and non‑technical audiences. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience working within a retail or multi‑site enterprise environment. Experience with Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, open‑source large language models, or other enterprise AI platforms.
