Make a powerful impact in a specialized educational environment dedicated to supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities. A full-time opportunity (32.5 hours per week) is available for a skilled Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to work with the Adaptive Behavioral Learning Environment (ABLE) program for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. This role offers the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, driving positive student outcomes in a dynamic school-based setting near Chicago, IL.

As the second BCBA for the ABLE program, you’ll play an integral role in integrating behavioral services throughout the school day for students spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade. This setting is ideal for professionals who are passionate about supporting diverse learners and working collaboratively within educational teams to develop and implement individualized strategies.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active, unencumbered BCBA certification required
• Experience working in K-12 school settings strongly preferred
• Solid understanding of the school model and the ability to embed ABA services within classroom routines
• Background supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Intellectual Disabilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with staff, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement behavior intervention plans tailored for students in the ABLE program
• Collaborate with teachers, aides, and school professionals to integrate ABA strategies into daily classroom activities
• Assess needs and monitor student progress, making data-driven adjustments as necessary
• Support development of social, communication, sensory, and academic skills
• Train and coach school staff in evidence-based ABA practices
