About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Med/Surg experience is required. LTAC/SNF experience is accepted. License: Must have a valid RN license in hand. Certifications: BLS certification is required. Must-Have: Must be willing to float as needed. Weekend work is required every other weekend. Description: This position requires a nurse with strong rehabilitation skills. The nurse will be responsible for the care and management of patients with tracheostomies. As part of the nursing team, the nurse will manage oxygen administration and peripheral line care. Experience with non-invasive airway management is preferred. The nurse will participate in rapid response and code teams when needed. Patient ratios for this unit are 1:5-7. Candidates with less than 2 years of experience may be considered. Applicants with prior experience in a similar setting will be prioritized. All candidates should be prepared to work weekends and may be scheduled to float to different areas. This role involves a collaborative approach with other healthcare professionals.
