As the Senior Category Manager, Direct Materials your responsibilities will be as follows: **Your day to day:** * **Strategic Planning**: Design, implement and monitor procurement strategies to ensure supply security, meet financial and budget objectives and mid to long term category developments. * **Technical Expertise**: Use your knowledge of direct materials and procurement processes to evaluate supply markets and select the best suppliers. * **Supplier Relationship Management:** Lead negotiations and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure the best quality, price and service. * **Quality & Compliance:** Oversee the selection and quality of materials, ensure compliance with PMI and Regulatory standards. * **Process Optimization:** Design and implement programs to streamline products and processes to realize productivity by challenging status quo. * **Documentation & Compliance:** Review and approve contracts and price lists to ensure accurate documentation and supplier performance measurement. * **Leadership:** Guide and motivate decentralized procurement team members and stakeholders to foster growth and development. **Who we’re looking for:** * 10+ years in Procurement experience with a focus on Purchasing, Planning, Development or Quality Assurance functions, with significant experience in purchasing, product development, and quality management working in a multinational environment. * Experience with **Raw Ingredient Materials and Packaging Buying are required.** * Strong people leadership experience. * In-depth understanding of the supply market and related service categories. * A university degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or Engineering. * Fluency in English. * Strong skills in financial analysis * In-depth knowledge of negotiation techniques. * Good command of process engineering and understanding of manufacturing environments. * Strong project management skills. * Effective time management. ***Base Salary Range = $149,600 - $187,000*** **What we offer** * We offer a competitive base salary, annual bonus (applicable based on level of position), great medical, dental and vision coverage, 401k with a generous company match, incredible wellness benefits, commuter benefits, pet insurance, generous PTO, and much more! * We have implemented Smart Work, a hybrid model of working that promotes flexibility in the workplace. * Seize the freedom to define your future and ours.
